Heated Clay Walls

I recently trialled embedding electric heating matts in the wall, and it seems to have been a real success. The electric heating matt was embedded in the hempcrete wall and covered in a thick clay plaster, creating a continuous storage heater around the entire room. Both this year and last year, throughout the winter, my client (who uses his garden room as a home office) reported turning on the thermostat (wifi controlled) for around half an hour in the morning before starting work - and thats it!
