Hempcrete
Solid wall insulative building material. Hempcrete is a carbon negative plant based material that provides insulation and thermal mass. Not only does it reduce heat loss in cold weather, and lower the effects of rising temperature in hot weather; hempcrete will also retain heat within the building fabric. A breathable and moisture buffering material eliminating uncomfortable damp and inhibiting mould growth. Fully fire resistant, excellent sound absorption and helps deter pests. Delivering the highest standards of internal comfort.
Clay Plasters
Natural breathable plasters. These clay plasters have low embodied carbon and come in a range of colours and styles.
Lime Plaster
Lime based plasters are breathable. We mostly use Limecote which is a hair chalk lime plaster, which is incredibly robust and is naturally a beautiful off-white.
Wood Fibreboard
Rigid wood fibreboard is a highly insulating and breathable board used on roof and wall applications. This product is made from recycled sawdust from the wood industries and is bonded using the natural resins in the sawdust.
Glapor - Recycled foam glass
We use foamed glass as part of our low impact, free draining, anti wicking and insulating foundation system. Foamed glass has excellent compressive strength as well as a good insulation value.
Wood Cladding
We use various types of wood cladding, where possible we use wood sourced from the uk. Douglas Fir, Larch, Oak, Ash.
